Studio Light Social Creator Terms & Conditions

SLS Exclusive is Studio Light Social’s paid creator membership and talent roster, charged at £7.99 per month and automatically renewed each month until cancelled. Members are added to the Studio Light Social creator roster, where their profile may be viewed and shared with brands and clients, and will receive emails when relevant paid collaboration opportunities become available. Studio Light Social focuses SLS Exclusive on paid rather than gifted-only opportunities; however, the number and frequency of opportunities will vary depending on client demand, active campaigns and brand requirements. Membership provides roster visibility and access to relevant paid opportunities but does not guarantee collaborations, bookings, income, paid work or a minimum number of opportunities. Members may apply for opportunities shared with them, but applying does not guarantee selection; applications may be shortlisted by Studio Light Social and shared with the relevant brand or client, with final selection dependent on individual campaign requirements. Creators are under no obligation to apply for or accept an opportunity, and where selected, the fee, deliverables, deadlines, usage rights and campaign requirements will be provided before acceptance. Creators receive the flat fee stated for each collaboration, with no commission deducted by Studio Light Social unless otherwise clearly communicated and agreed in advance. Creators operate on a freelance basis and remain responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, insurance and other self-employment obligations. For completed collaborations, creators will be paid within 20 days of Studio Light Social receiving cleared payment from the relevant client; client payment terms may vary and can take up to 60 days or longer, and payment remains subject to agreed deliverables being completed correctly and on time. All campaign briefs, fees, client details and other non-public information must remain confidential, and creators are responsible for complying with applicable ASA, CAP Code and platform advertising disclosure requirements. Where Studio Light Social introduces a creator to a brand or client, the creator must not knowingly bypass Studio Light Social to arrange direct commercial work with that brand or client for 12 months following the introduction without prior written permission. By joining SLS Exclusive, creators give Studio Light Social permission to display their creator profile, social media handles and agreed imagery on the talent roster, present their profile to prospective brands and clients, and use content created through Studio Light Social collaborations for portfolio, social media, marketing and business development purposes, subject to applicable campaign usage restrictions. Membership can be cancelled at any time by contacting Studio Light Social; please allow up to five working days for cancellation to be processed, and if the next billing date falls within this period, the next payment may still be collected. Membership fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Once membership ends, the creator may be removed from the roster and will no longer receive SLS Exclusive opportunities, although any collaborations already confirmed remain subject to their agreed terms. If a member is unhappy with the service, they should contact Studio Light Social so their concerns can be reviewed; a lack of opportunities or unsuccessful applications does not constitute a failure to provide the membership service as collaborations are not guaranteed. Studio Light Social reserves the right to suspend or remove creators for breaches of these terms, concerns regarding professional conduct or circumstances where continued representation could reasonably affect Studio Light Social, its clients or partners. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including UK GDPR. By purchasing an SLS Exclusive Membership, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions and authorise the recurring £7.99 monthly membership payment until cancelled.
