Studio Light Social Creator Terms & Conditions
Joining the Studio Light Social creator roster does not guarantee brand collaborations, income, gifted opportunities, or paid work. Joining the roster does not create an employment relationship and does not guarantee any minimum number of opportunities, collaborations, gifted products, or earnings. All opportunities are subject to brand requirements, campaign suitability, and client approval.
Any collaboration shared by Studio Light Social is an offer and is not confirmed until agreed by all parties. A separate contract may be required before work begins.
By accepting a collaboration, you confirm that you are happy with the deliverables, fee, brief, deadlines, usage rights, and any example content provided. All collaborations managed by Studio Light Social must be communicated through Studio Light Social unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Creators work on a freelance basis and are responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, insurance, and any other legal obligations relating to self employment.
Creators will be paid by Studio Light Social, not the brand or client directly. Where an agency commission applies, this will be clearly communicated before the collaboration is accepted. If no commission applies, the fee stated is the amount the creator will receive.
Payment is conditional upon all agreed deliverables being completed to the required standard and submitted within the agreed deadlines. Failure to complete the agreed content or meet deadlines may result in the collaboration being cancelled and payment being reduced or withheld.
Creators will be paid within twenty days of Studio Light Social receiving full payment from the client. Client payment terms can vary and may take up to sixty days or longer. Payment will only be made once Studio Light Social has received cleared funds from the client.
If you are unavailable, on holiday, or unable to complete a collaboration, you must notify Studio Light Social as soon as possible, as this may affect your eligibility for current or future opportunities.
If a creator is introduced to a brand, client, or business through Studio Light Social, they must not enter into direct commercial agreements with that brand, client, or business without the written permission of Studio Light Social for a period of twelve months from the date of introduction.
All briefs, campaign information, fees, client details, and other non public information must remain confidential unless written permission has been provided.
Where content approval is required by a brand or client, creators must not publish content until approval has been received.
Creators are responsible for ensuring that all advertising content complies with ASA, CAP Code, and platform disclosure requirements, including the use of #ad, gifted, paid partnership tools, or any other required disclosures.
Creators may not delete, archive, or significantly alter sponsored content before the agreed live period without written approval from the brand or Studio Light Social.
Any content usage rights granted to a brand will be outlined within the collaboration brief or contract. Creators must not assume additional usage rights beyond those specifically agreed.
By joining the roster, creators grant Studio Light Social permission to use content created as part of collaborations, as well as publicly available content from their social media platforms, for promotional, marketing, portfolio, and business development purposes.
Creators are expected to conduct themselves professionally when communicating with brands, clients, and representatives. Studio Light Social reserves the right to remove creators from the roster if their conduct is deemed harmful to the reputation of Studio Light Social, its clients, or its partners.
Studio Light Social reserves the right to remove creators from the roster at any time if these Terms & Conditions are breached.
All personal information provided to Studio Light Social will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations and will only be used for legitimate business purposes.
By joining the Studio Light Social creator roster and accepting collaboration opportunities, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
